GE HealthCare, a global precision care innovator, has appointed William (Bill) Grogan as Chief Financial Officer with effect from 14 September 2026. He succeeds Jay Saccaro, whose departure for a broader role outside the medical technology sector was announced earlier.
George Newcomb, who has been holding the finance brief on an interim basis, hands back the CFO duties and continues as Controller and Chief Accounting Officer.
Grogan joins from Xylem Inc., a global water solutions business with revenue of roughly USD 9 billion, where he has been executive vice president and chief financial officer since 2023. The move brings a finance leader accustomed to steering a large industrial balance sheet into a medtech group of comparable scale and complexity.
Before Xylem, he spent more than ten years at IDEX Corporation, a diversified engineered products company supplying mission-critical solutions, serving as senior vice president and chief financial officer there from 2017 to 2023.
