NeoGenomics, Inc., a provider of oncology diagnostic solutions supporting precision medicine, has appointed Carolyn Starrett to its Board of Directors.
Starrett brings more than 25 years of experience in commercial strategy, product development, and operations across data and technology companies, along with expertise in artificial intelligence and data-driven insights for cancer care and research.
She spent a decade at Flatiron Health, from 2016 to 2026, serving in various executive roles before becoming Chief Executive Officer and Board Director in April 2021. She held the CEO role through September 2025. Starrett currently serves as President of Starrett Advisory, an independent consulting and strategic advisory firm, where she advises clients on healthcare delivery, drug development, data, and AI.
Earlier, Starrett served as a Board Director at Foundation Medicine from 2021 to 2024. Before joining Flatiron Health, she held leadership positions at a predictive analytics company and worked as a principal at Boston Consulting Group, where she led strategy and transformation initiatives for healthcare and technology organizations.
Starrett holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
Her appointment adds significant expertise in healthcare technology, oncology data, AI, and strategic transformation to NeoGenomics’ Board as the company continues to advance precision medicine through diagnostic innovation.
