Life365, a leading virtual care and data engagement platform, has appointed Jay Roberts as Chief Development Officer (CDO).
A seasoned healthcare executive and investor, Roberts brings more than 30 years of strategic leadership in healthcare innovation, operations, and finance to his new role.
Roberts previously served as an executive advisor to Life365 and now joins the leadership team to drive strategic growth initiatives, including capital formation, partnership development, and stakeholder engagement. His appointment marks a significant step forward in Life365’s mission to deliver AI-driven healthcare solutions for enterprise healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies.
In addition to his role at Life365, Roberts is a Partner at Ventac Partners, a global life sciences catalyst dedicated to translating innovation into patient-centered solutions. He also serves as a Venture Partner at DigiLife Fund II, leading investment strategy, due diligence, and capital deployment across the digital health ecosystem.
Roberts holds extensive board-level experience, serving on the Board of Trustees at U.S. Pharmacopeia and on the boards of several healthcare companies, including Cingulate (Nasdaq: CING), Caidya Research, Veriskin, NaviPoint Health, and Vyant Bio. He most recently served as President and CEO of Vyant Bio, where he led the company’s efforts in reimagining drug discovery for complex neurological diseases.
Over the course of his distinguished career, Roberts has held CEO, COO, and CFO roles across public and private healthcare technology and biotech organizations. He has been directly involved in more than 50 mergers, acquisitions, and capital transactions, covering diagnostics, software, life sciences manufacturing, and digital therapeutics.
Roberts’ prior roles include CEO and COO of Cancer Genetics, and CFO of VirMedica, a healthcare technology innovator. He is a member of the Alliance of CEOs and a recognized thought leader in corporate strategy, capital formation, and healthcare innovation. He frequently contributes to forums on leadership, "conscious capitalism," and next-gen health tech.
Roberts holds an MBA from the University of Maine.
