Novocure, a global leader in innovative cancer therapies, has appointed Frank Leonard as Chief Executive Officer. Leonard succeeds Ashley Cordova, who has resigned from the company, and brings extensive leadership experience from his prior role as Novocure’s President.
Leonard joined Novocure in 2010, playing a key role in preparing the company for its first commercial launch. Over the years, he has held multiple leadership positions, establishing critical functions across finance, reimbursement, and business development, while also leading early innovation and product development initiatives.
As President, Leonard oversaw global operations, including sales, marketing, field medical affairs, patient experience, public affairs, market access, and product and portfolio strategy. His comprehensive experience across commercial, operational, and strategic areas positions him to drive Novocure’s continued growth and advance its mission of improving outcomes for patients with cancer.
Leonard’s appointment reflects Novocure’s commitment to strong leadership continuity and a focus on innovation, market expansion, and delivering value to patients and stakeholders worldwide.
