Insulet Appoints Jonathan J. Mazelsky to Board of Directors as Independent Director

Insulet Corporation, a global leader in tubeless insulin pump technology and the maker of the Omnipod® brand, has appointed Jonathan “Jay” Mazelsky to its Board of Directors as an independent director.

Mazelsky brings extensive leadership experience across healthcare technology, diagnostics, medical devices, and business strategy. He currently serves as Executive Chair of the Board of Directors of IDEXX Laboratories, a global provider of animal health diagnostics and software.

During his 14-year tenure at IDEXX, Mazelsky served as President and Chief Executive Officer from October 2019 to May 2026. He previously served as Interim President and CEO from June to October 2019 and as Executive Vice President, overseeing the company’s North American Companion Animal Group Commercial Organization and key elements of its innovation portfolio. Under his leadership as CEO, IDEXX’s revenue and stock price nearly doubled.

Before joining IDEXX, Mazelsky served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Computed Tomography, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation Therapy Planning at Philips Healthcare from 2010 to 2012. He also held several strategic leadership positions at Philips between 2001 and 2010.

Earlier in his career, Mazelsky held leadership roles at Agilent Technologies, including Executive in Charge and General Manager of its Medical Consumables Business Unit. He began his career in finance, marketing, and business planning roles at Hewlett-Packard.

Mazelsky also serves on the Board of Directors of Dentsply Sirona. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Rochester.

His appointment adds extensive healthcare industry, commercial, strategic, and leadership expertise to Insulet’s Board as the company continues to advance its tubeless insulin delivery technology and expand its global presence.
