Cytovale has appointed Eric Khairy as Chief Marketing Officer, strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it expands commercialization efforts for its IntelliSep® rapid sepsis diagnostic test.
In this newly created role, Khairy will lead Cytovale’s global marketing strategy and execution as the company works to accelerate adoption of its sepsis detection technology across healthcare systems.
Khairy brings extensive commercial and marketing leadership experience within the medical technology sector. He joins Cytovale from Inari Medical, where he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Operations. During his seven-year tenure, he played a major role in supporting the company’s rapid growth from approximately US$6 million to US$600 million in annual revenue. He also contributed to Inari Medical’s transition from an early-stage startup to a publicly traded company through its US$1 billion initial public offering, followed by its later US$4.9 billion acquisition by Stryker Corporation.
Before joining Inari Medical, Khairy held leadership positions in commercial strategy and marketing at Philips, Volcano Corporation, Corindus Vascular Robotics, and Minogue Medical, gaining broad experience across medical diagnostics, robotics, and healthcare technology commercialization.
Khairy earned an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Applied Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Montreal, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from McGill University.
