Fresenius Medical Care AG, the world's largest supplier of products and services for people living with renal disease, has appointed Cassie McLean (48) to its Management Board with effect from 1 August 2026. She takes charge of the Care Delivery operating segment as its Chief Executive Officer.
McLean joined the company in August 2025 as President of Fresenius Kidney Care. Her remit now widens: she assumes direct accountability for the global clinic business, spanning Fresenius Kidney Care in the United States and Care Delivery International.
She joined from Monte Nido, a behavioural health provider, where she was chief executive. Earlier she spent close to 16 years at DaVita Kidney Care in a series of roles including Group Vice President.
McLean earned a Master of Public Administration in healthcare finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in biology from Colorado College.
