BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), a leading global medical technology company, has appointed Robert “Robbie” Huffines and Jacqueline “Jacky” Wright to its Board of Directors, further strengthening the company’s governance and strategic oversight.
With these appointments, BD has added three new independent directors in 2025, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to board refreshment and strong corporate governance practices.
Robert Huffines brings more than 30 years of experience advising healthcare companies on strategy, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and financing. He is a former Global Chairman of Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., where he joined in 1991 and held several senior leadership roles, including Co-Head of the Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group, Vice Chairman, and Co-Chair of the Global Strategic Advisory Council. Earlier in his career, Huffines worked at Alex Brown & Sons, focusing on equity financing and advisory services for emerging growth companies.
He currently serves on the Board of Insulet Corporation and previously served on the Board of Walgreens Boots Alliance until its sale in August 2025. He is also active in nonprofit and advisory roles, including co-founding The Forest Group, Inc., and serving on the boards of the Hastings Center for Biomedical Ethics, Nextech Invest Ltd., and Eikon Therapeutics.
