Zynex, Inc., a leading medical technology company focused on developing and commercializing non-invasive medical devices for pain management, rehabilitation, and patient monitoring, has appointed Bret Wise to its Board of Directors.
In addition to his board role, Wise will serve as Chair of the Audit Committee, bringing decades of leadership and financial oversight experience within the medical device industry.
A distinguished executive with a proven record of operational and financial excellence, Wise previously served as Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Dentsply International from 2007 to 2016, and as Executive Chair of Dentsply Sirona from 2016 to 2017. During his tenure, he guided the company through transformative mergers, global expansion, and strategic portfolio growth, solidifying its position as one of the world’s foremost dental technology enterprises.
Before joining Dentsply, Wise held several senior finance and leadership positions, including serving as Chief Financial Officer for two publicly traded companies. Earlier in his career, he was an audit partner at KPMG, where he developed deep expertise in corporate governance, audit practices, and financial reporting.
Wise has also served on the Boards of IMS Health Inc. and Pall Corporation, as well as two private firms. He currently sits on the Board of Zest Dental Solutions and the Clinical Advisory Board of Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine.
His appointment reinforces Zynex’s commitment to strong financial stewardship, governance, and continued innovation in delivering life-improving medical technologies.
