Elevaris Medical Devices, a leading contract engineering and manufacturing partner to multinational healthcare companies, has appointed Salvador Montes as its new Chief Engineering and Operations Officer. 

In this role, Montes will oversee global technical strategy and operational performance across Elevaris’ facilities in the United States, Great Britain, and South Korea.

With more than 25 years of experience, Montes has established himself as an expert in production, supply chain leadership, and operational transformation across the medical device, aerospace, and consumer goods sectors. He brings a strong record of leading lean transformations, integrating newly acquired sites, supporting startups, and executing operational turnarounds. His leadership philosophy centers on building high-performing teams and applying lean principles, sales and operations planning, and structured management systems to drive measurable, sustainable results.

Montes holds certifications from the American Production and Inventory Control Society and in the Supply Chain Operations Reference Digital Standard—a comprehensive, digital framework for evaluating and improving end-to-end supply chain operations. He is also a certified Scrum Master, enabling him to guide cross-functional teams in solving complex challenges through iterative development and continuous feedback.

A graduate of Tecnologico de Monterrey with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Montes has also completed executive education programs at McGill University, Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His insights and industry influence have earned him speaking invitations at the American Manufacturing Summit and features in publications such as Hispanic Executive Magazine and BOSS Magazine.
