BD Launches BD Incada™ First-of-its-Kind AI-Enabled Healthcare Connectivity Platform

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) has introduced the BD Incada™ Connected Care Platform, an AI-enabled, cloud-based system that unifies data from BD devices into a single intelligent ecosystem.

The platform launches alongside the next-generation BD Pyxis™ Pro Automated Medication Dispensing Solution, enhancing visibility, security and efficiency across healthcare settings.

Built on Amazon Web Services (AWS), the BD Incada™ Platform uses advanced AI analytics, including natural language search, to help clinicians access real-time insights from nearly three million connected BD devices.

It provides enterprise-wide visibility into medication inventory, helping healthcare teams identify patterns, reduce waste and improve medication availability and workflow efficiency.

The BD Pyxis™ Pro Dispensing Solution offers a modular, stackable design that expands medication storage capacity within the same footprint.

It includes advanced security features for controlled substances and streamlined access through RFID badge scanning and wireless barcode technology.

Together, the BD Incada™ Platform and BD Pyxis™ Pro mark a significant step in BD’s Connected Care strategy, setting a new standard for unified, data-driven healthcare operations that enable smarter, faster, and safer clinical decisions.
