Trinity Health Michigan and Universal Health Services have recently started the construction of the Southridge Behavioral Hospital in Byron Center, Michigan.

The primary objective of the hospital is to address the increasing demand for high-quality mental and behavioral health care services.
The hospital is expected to employ around 170 staff members, including physicians, nurses, therapists, mental health technicians, administrative personnel, dietary staff, and housekeeping personnel.
The facility will cater to individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and other related issues that require hospitalization and personalized treatment.
Patient care will be individualized, providing core psychiatric services, counseling, and supplementary therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, and outdoor activities.
Southridge Behavioral Hospital aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for patients to embark on their healing journey.
With a maximum capacity of 96 beds, Southridge Behavioral Hospital will accommodate a substantial number of patients.
The scheduled opening of Southridge Behavioral Hospital is projected to take place in 2025.
