The Redland Hospital in Australia has been awarded two building contracts for the expansion of its facility.

The contracts are worth US $ 25 million for the 28-bed ward and US $ 62 million for the facility's Stage I expansion.
The expansion will see the addition of 37 extra beds and a new ICU.
ADCO was given the construction contract for the Stage I expansion of Redland Hospital. Work is scheduled to start in the first quarter of next year and be completed in the first half of 2024.
Hutchinson Builders has received the $25 million construction contract. Redland Hospital will receive 28 more beds as a result of this contract.
The facility's construction has already started and is expected to be completed by the middle of 2023.
The ward would be constructed off-site, craned into position, and fully furnished with all necessary amenities like plumbing, medical gases, and clinical lighting.
A new seven-story parking structure is currently being built on the hospital grounds, and once it is finished, the hospital will be able to accommodate 1,000 extra cars in parking spaces. The new parking facility will open in early 2023.
In addition to these new initiatives, a new Redlands Satellite Hospital is being built at Meissner Street in Redland Bay to offer medical services to the local population of the Redlands Coast.
A Minor Injury and Illness Clinic will be available at this hospital to relieve some of the pressure on the crowded emergency room at Redland Hospital.
Various other services will also be offered to the local community. This will eliminate the need for locals to travel to Redland Hospital and other significant medical facilities, like the Metro South Hospital and Health Service.
The Satellite Hospital will be operational next year.
