PMB and Riverside University Health System Collaborate on $580 Million Behavioral Health Facility

Introduction:

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) and PMB have embarked on a transformative initiative with The Wellness Village project in Mead Valley. 

Features:

This expansive 445,000-square-foot facility will serve as a pioneering model in integrating comprehensive healthcare and social support services. Strategically located at the intersection of Harvill Avenue and Placentia Avenue.

The Wellness Village is a collaboration between PMB as the developer, Boulder Associates as the architect, Snyder Langston as the design-builder, and PMB Real Estate Services as the property manager. 

This groundbreaking project will feature Riverside County's first mental health urgent care and crisis residential program specifically for children under 13.

Alongside a broad spectrum of services including behavioral health treatment, primary and specialty medical care, dental services, substance use disorder treatment, and a public pharmacy. 

The facility will house several key areas such as a Youth and Family Care Center, Wellness and Education Center, Recovery Center, The Residences, and Restorative Care facilities.

In addition to its clinical offerings, The Wellness Village will provide a range of community-oriented amenities, including green spaces, sports courts, a public market, a café, community meeting spaces, and pet boarding services, fostering a holistic approach to health and well-being.

The facility center is scheduled for completion in 2026.
