Introduction:
This project is geared towards expanding its current emergency department to improve accessibility to emergency services for the growing population.
Features:
The expansion plan aims to double the size of the existing emergency department. It will add 19 new rooms to accommodate increased patient demand.
It aims to enhance the patient experience and enable a highly skilled team of specialized clinicians to reach more individuals in need of emergency and imaging services.
The expanded emergency department will cover 44,000 square feet. It will incorporate 13 treatment rooms, two trauma rooms, and four behavioral health rooms.
Hybrid procedural spaces for radiology and cardiology services will be introduced. The project includes the relocation and expansion of mobile pad support areas.
Renovations will be made to waiting rooms, public safety areas, and the lab.
The expected completion date for the emergency department expansion is set for the fall of 2025.
