NGMC Braselton Invests US$565 million for Hospital Expansion in USA

Introduction:

Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s NGMC Braselton has invested US $565 million for the hospital expansion in Braselton, USA. 

Features:

The project will include the addition of a clinical space measuring 235,000ft². 

This will embrace the addition of two new patient care floors, with 150 more licensed acute care beds, bringing the total number of licensed beds to 284. 

In addition, the Emergency Department will be expanded to increase the number of treatment rooms from 23 to 46, to deliver health care services more efficiently. 

There will also be more than 200 new parking spaces for patients and visitors, and the laboratory, pharmacy, kitchen, and other support spaces at the hospital will be expanded.
The endovascular operating room will be built to cater to complex vascular and cardiac cases. 

The pre and postoperative care areas at the NGMC Braselton will also be expanded. 

The project is scheduled to begin later this month, with the new patient care floors scheduled for completion in 2025. 

The Emergency Department expansion is set to be completed in 2026.
