New Psychiatric Hospital Worth US $ 282.5 million Unveils in the USA

Introduction:

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and UT Southwestern have begun construction of a new psychiatric hospital in Dallas, USA, for a total of US$282.5 million.

Features:

The "Texas Behavioral Health Center" facility will be situated at UT Southwestern.

The project is a component of the state's overall strategy to increase the number of inpatient psychiatric beds.

The new building will be designed by HHSC and UT Southwestern Medical Center.

The construction of the facility is expected to be completed by 2025.

Additionally, Children's Health contributed US $200 million to a paediatric wing where UT Southwestern clinicians will only care for patients who are children and adolescents.

There will be 296 beds in the facility, 200 of which will be for adults and up to 96 for children.
