Jackson Parish Hospital Achieves Milestone with Groundbreaking Ceremony for Future Advancements
Features:
Phase 1 Enhancements to the front of the hospital to optimize patient and vehicle traffic flow.
Combination of former surgery and business office areas to create an expanded endoscopy suite.
Addition of parts of a new emergency room area inside the hospital.
Phase 2 Upgrading and rebuilding of the existing Emergency Room (ER) and surgery space.
Increased combined area from around 2,500 square feet each to a total of 12,000 square feet.
New ER featuring eight treatment rooms and two trauma rooms.
Additional access to a single trauma room and three treatment areas within the new surgery space.
Inclusion of a new ambulance bay with four-vehicle pass-through availability.
Dedicated ambulance and patient lanes for improved access.
Construction of a 46-car parking lot as part of the project.
Completion of "Phase 1" in November or December 2024. Anticipated conclusion of the entire project, including "Phase 2," in the summer of 2025.
