Groundbreaking for Cincinnati Children’s NKY Medical Building Accompanied by Announcement of $22.5 Million

Introduction:

The Union, KY location will house a substantial primary care practice and specialized medical and surgical clinics, providing a unique blend of healthcare services in Northern Kentucky.

Features:

The Cincinnati Children’s Brandon and Kelly Janszen Union KY Building, covering 27,000 square feet, is designed with the flexibility for future expansion.

The facility is set to introduce a pioneering approach by integrating pediatric primary and specialty care services, a first-of-its-kind initiative for Cincinnati Children’s in Northern Kentucky.

Integrated behavioral health counseling, a laboratory, and radiology services will complement the primary and specialty care, ensuring a holistic healthcare experience.

This new location aims to augment the array of healthcare services already offered by Cincinnati Children’s in Northern Kentucky, including various physician practices.

The team at the Union, KY location will include physicians, advanced practice providers, registered nurses, mental health counselors, medical assistants, and support staff, although specific staffing numbers are yet to be finalized.

Specialty clinics planned for the facility include Adolescent Medicine, Dermatology, Diabetes, Gynecology, Human Genetics, Neonatology Complex Care, Pediatric Surgery Consultation, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Rheumatology.

Cincinnati Children’s expects to welcome the first patients to the Union, KY location in Spring 2025.
