The new site's convenient location places it just 2.5 miles away from LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
The facility will include specialized exam rooms, such as resuscitation, bariatric, obstetrics, isolation, and pediatric-friendly rooms.
There is notable ongoing construction in the area, with over 1,500 units being developed along Cypress Gardens Boulevard.
Two triage rooms will be available for swift patient assessment and treatment.
The first phase of the project will involve constructing a 20,000 square-foot emergency room (ER) with 24 beds.
Essential services like lab services, X-ray, CT, and ultrasound scans will be provided.
The ER will feature a helipad to facilitate emergency medical transportation.
AdventHealth serves as the official medical partner of LEGOLAND Florida Resort.
The ER is scheduled to be completed by Summer 2024.
