Blake Hospital Invests $15 Million in Cutting-Edge Emergency Facility in South Bradenton

Introduction:

HCA Florida Blake Hospital is constructing a freestanding emergency department, named HCA Florida South Bradenton Emergency, to serve patients in Manatee County and neighboring communities starting in the summer of 2024.

Features:

As part of HCA Florida Blake Hospital, this new emergency department aims to provide quality healthcare services closer to home for the growing communities it serves.

The facility spans 11,500 square feet and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The facility will feature 12 exam rooms and offer full-service emergency care, including laboratory, x-rays, CT scanning, and ultrasound capabilities.

It is expected to serve over 10,000 patients annually, contributing to the healthcare needs of the region.

The expansion will result in the creation of 32 new full-time positions, including roles such as nurses, paramedics, radiology technicians, security guards, laboratory technicians, pharmacy technicians, and housekeeping staff.
