AdventHealth invests More Than $1 billion for Its Transformation in Orlando

Introduction:

AdventHealth Orlando has announced a large-scale transformation of its campus, marking the most significant single investment in healthcare in Central Florida’s history. This major development is aimed at addressing the increasing demand for medical services in the region, which continues to experience rapid population growth.

Features:

The expansion will strengthen services across a wide range of medical specialities and support the recruitment and training of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and clinical staff.

Enhanced clinical services and technology, including robot-assisted kidney transplants at the region’s only transplant institute; the GRACE programme, which combines family and medical history with AI to assess cancer risk; and a specialised neonatal unit offering intensive care for premature infants from 22 weeks of gestation.

The latest investment is intended to position the campus as a hub for advanced surgery, research, and medical education, while also serving as a key civic and healthcare centre for the city.

The project is expected to open in 2030, will house 24 operating theatres, endoscopy and imaging services, and provide 440 inpatient beds.
