PinkDx, Inc., an early-stage diagnostics company focused on advancing women's health, has appointed Marra S. Francis, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Francis, a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, brings over 20 years of clinical and leadership experience in diagnostics and biotech.
Previously, she served as Chief Medical Officer at Genece Health, where she led clinical trial designs for early cancer detection. Dr. Francis has also held advisory roles in diagnostics firms and leadership positions at Memorial Hermann Hospital of the Woodlands, Texas. She holds a medical degree from the University of Connecticut Health Center and a bachelor's degree in biology from Occidental College.
PinkDx leverages an RNA-based, multi-omic platform to develop non-invasive diagnostic solutions, with an initial focus on gynecological cancers. The company aims to improve outcomes for women presenting vague symptoms such as bloating, pelvic pain, and abnormal bleeding, which often lead to diagnostic delays.
