Doctronic AI, an AI-native health platform transforming care delivery through fast, private, and personalized healthcare solutions at scale, has appointed Dr. Byron Crowe, MD, MSc, as Chief Medical Officer (CMO).

In his new role, Dr. Crowe will lead the company’s clinical strategy, product innovation, and expansion of its nationwide affiliated physician network, further advancing Doctronic’s mission to deliver safe, AI-powered healthcare to millions.

Dr. Crowe is a nationally recognized clinician and thought leader at the intersection of medicine and artificial intelligence. Before joining Doctronic, he served as Chief Medical Officer at Solera Health, where he helped build a curated network of digital health providers and scale population health solutions for major payers and employers.

In addition to his industry expertise, Dr. Crowe has held a distinguished academic career as a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and a practicing physician at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. His groundbreaking research on the application of large language model–based AI in diagnosis and clinical reasoning has been published in leading journals, including JAMA and NEJM AI, and featured in The New York Times. He has also co-authored key society guidelines shaping the future of AI in medicine.

A graduate of Emory University School of Medicine with a Master of Science in Clinical Informatics Management from Stanford University, Dr. Crowe is board-certified in internal medicine. His appointment comes as Doctronic AI enters a phase of rapid growth following its US$20 million Series A funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, marking a new era of AI-driven clinical innovation.
