Novel BP Monitoring Wearable Device Discovered

Livemetric discovered a novel nano-sensor for blood pressure called LiveOne. It provides readings every 10 seconds.

The first MEMS nano-sensor, CE and FDA-cleared device in the world with medical accuracy correlated with arterial lines.

LiveOne proposes the application of nanosensors to capture and process real-time blood pressure data. In order to do so, it uses pattern recognition with machine-learning algorithms to extract the values and provide them in real time.

Unlike traditional cuffs, the LiveMetric calibration-free cuff is quick and easy-to-use. The LiveMetric Platform provides insurers and physicians with data to help manage health care delivery costs while still improving patient outcomes.

Technology that can be used will be available through the health system, health insurance companies, and self-insured employers for people with high blood pressure and cardiovascular disease.

With Livemetric, people can be evaluated and monitored better from anywhere, anytime.

Liveone band, which can be used both day and night, gives a wide volume of data points. This allows doctors and caregivers to easily evaluate trends and possible events.
